NFL: Big Game Night

Summary

A weekly show broadcast LIVE on Channel 5. Hosted by Dermot O’Leary, Sam Quek, and two-time Super Bowl champion Osi Umenyiora who are joined by celebrity guests for NFL: Big Game Night. When the live NFL game takes a pause, the fun is just getting started. In the studio, two teams go head-to-head in high-energy challenges. Expect big plays and even bigger laughs.

Technical Summary

The different weekly games came with their own technical requirements. Pick6 involved bespoke graphic machine and MIDI cues to trigger lighting and grams. We also deployed minicams each week for extras shots. Dermot O’Leary wanted his own sound board, so we programmed a Stream deck to fire additional MIDI cues. For the playoff shows we brought in Piero graphics to tell the visual story. The programme was four hours long and handed over to our second gallery to continue the NFL games on the 5Action channel.
